About Jocelyn

I am a PhD candidate at the University of Chicago studying cancer biology, where I research ways to improve cancer immunotherapies. In my free time, I enjoy baking and sharing my treats with friends for birthdays, gatherings, or celebrations. Now, I’m hoping to bring my treats to the rest of my community in Chicago, IL.

I grew up with a severe peanut and tree nut allergy and couldn’t enjoy the store-bought treats my classmates brought to school or the baked goods at cafes for fear of cross-contamination. So, I started baking my own desserts that tasted just as good, making me (and my parents) feel safe.
